As a result of its growth initiatives, M3 has a need for an experienced HR professional who is eager to make a difference and create efficiencies in operations and support growth.

The role of HR Generalist will be to support the US M3 Global Research business unit based in Fort Washington, PA reporting to M3 USA HR Director. This person must be able to work Central or Eastern time zone.

The Role:

The HR department plays an integral role in the business by providing a professional and timely service to the business in terms of the entire employment cycle and ensuring that through effective hiring, development, retention and engagement strategies, it supports continued growth and profitability.

The HR Generalist will work closely with M3 Global Research employees and managers to proactively support the day to day HR operations of the teams.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Pro-actively support managers with the end-to-end employment cycle and day-to-day HR administrative operations of the teams.
  • Engage managers to discuss people issues and developmental needs
  • Investigate manager and employee relations issues and provide guidance
  • Champion the performance review process, from compliance to succession planning
  • Support the company CEO and M3 Corporate Shared Services with HR projects
  • Partner with talent acquisition to ensure the needs of the business are being met
  • Implement company-wide employee engagement and training initiatives
  • Ensure legislative compliance on all aspects of human resource management activities, including health and safety, privacy laws, training and employment law requirements
  • Responsible for updating policies and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Responsible for various mandatory state and federal reporting
  • Provide support on EEO issues and reporting
  • Work closely with CEO and Finance to select best-in-class benefits and compensation packages for the company
  • Oversees the day to day administration of employee benefits
  • Research market-rate salary and benefits information to assist with decision making.
  • Deliver local initiatives to support and strengthen the employer brand through community engagement, recruitment, retention policies, on-boarding and employee engagement

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience within a generalist HR role
  • Preferably PHR or SPHR qualified or working towards qualification
  • University degree in a related subject preferable
  • A strong understanding of EEO/AA and employment law
  • Experience with UltiPro HRIS preferred
  • Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent MS office skills
  • Preferably experience within a fast moving and growing business
  • Self -starter and able to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good team player with excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Able to multitask and comfortable with a high-volume workload within a very fast -paced environment.
